AND PHONE LESSONS: Goodrich Vocal Studio was opened in 1989 by Michael. Jennifer joined forces with Michael in 1997. Michael is certified at level 5, the highest level given by SREG. He is also one of only 7 IMT'S responsible for training teachers in SLS throughout the world. Jennifer is a level 4, the second highest level awarded. |
The Goodrich Vocal Studio is a Speech Level Singing studio. Founded in 1989, its purpose is to help singers sing more easily and joyfully over a wide range of notes for artistic expression, using any dynamic level that the music demands. It's continuing mission is to assist singers in reaching their individual vocal potential.
Over the years the Goodrich Vocal Studio has had the privilege of working with hundreds of artists, both professional and non-professional, in all genres of music, including; Pop, R&B, Musical Theater, Country, Gospel as well as music for Movies and Television.
The studios are located in Universal City, CA, just minutes from Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. It's founders, Michael and Jennifer Goodrich have 2 fully equipped studios where they teach private lessons, conduct classes and teach private phone lessons to pupils all over the world.
The Goodrich Vocal Studio Outreach and Speech Level Singing International (SLSI) takes them around Los Angeles and much of the United States teaching privately, conducting master classes, holding workshops and training teachers in the Speech Level Singing method.
At the inception of SLSI, Michael was asked by Seth Riggs to be a member
of the Instructors Management Team (IMT). As an IMT member Michael has
the privilege and responsibility of training teachers all over the world
in the use of Speech Level Singing.
